Bob
McCurdy received his B.S. in Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University, his
Masters in Education from the University of Hartford and an honorary Doctor of
Pharmacy degree from his alma mater, Ohio Northern. He currently serves as Assistant to the Dean of the Raabe
College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.
Bob
has had a long career in education and retail pharmacy.
After administrative positions at Ohio Northern, the University of
Hartford, and Carnegie-Mellon University, Bob began a twenty five year career in
retail pharmacy. Bob was associated
with Red Shield Drug, Rite Aid, Giant Eagle, and for thirteen years served as
Vice President for Phar-Mor, Inc. He
currently heads up his own consulting firm, University Pharmacy Solutions and he
serves as a Director for Drug Emporiom, Inc. and Drug Emporium.com.
Bob
is a frequent participant in national pharmacy meetings including AMCP, NACDS,
and FMI. He is a member of the Ohio
Pharmacists Association and the Northwest Ohio Pharmacy Association.
In
the community, Bob is President of his Kiwanis club and is active on a variety
of committees at the Ada First United Methodist Church.
Bob is married to Myrna, his wife of thirty three years and they are the
parents of two children, Chris – a pharmacist and Medicinal chemist doing a
post-doctoral fellowship at Minnesota and Lisa – a cardiology Nurse extender
in Peoria, Illinois.
